Biohazard is a recreation of the first Resident Evil, the PSX and PC original. However, changing the third-person perspective with fixed cameras for a first-person perspective where you have full freedom of movement. The game has been developed entirely using the Unity engine, with all the iconic elements perfectly recreated in 3D— from the video scenes to the design of the mansion itself and, of course, the zombies.
A very simple control system
The controls in Biohazard are simple but not customizable. As this is a beta version, the game does not have an options menu, so you cannot change the controls. Fortunately, the controls are very simple. You can use WASD to move your character and the mouse to aim. With the E key, you can interact with the various elements of the setting— open doors, pick up objects, and so on. Press the Shift key to run, which is highly recommended as the character moves very slowly. And, of course, you can left-click to shoot and right-click to aim the gun. With the mouse wheel, you can quickly change weapons.
The same classic game, but in first person
Anyone who has played the original Resident Evil (or its remaster) will recognize the game instantly. After all, this project aims to recreate the Capcom classic as faithfully as possible but with 3D settings and a first-person perspective. No surprises. As such, the game starts with the protagonist (you can choose between two, Chris and Jill) outside the mansion, and you will have to run inside. Once inside, you will instantly be able to recognize the design of the mansion. If you go through the door on the left and go through the dining room, you can reach the room where the legendary scene with a zombie eating your partner takes place. From there, the horror begins.
Download Biohazard and relive one of the most influential horror video games ever, now from a different perspective. Exploring Spencer Mansion again, this time in 3D, is a true luxury and a real thrill for fans of the saga. This is a spectacular fangame where the hours and love put into it shine through.
